If you’re not a member of the Chan family, do not attempt to cross the street. And if you haven’t been in a rally, forget driving on the street. But by all means, driving through intersections has got to top the list in Lebanon.
I bet Alanis Morissette has a Lebanese root too. It is a trend these days, don't you think?
Intersection 1:
“Hey, wait” I shouted, trying to get my car out of the building parking lot.
“Come on! M…..” Some fake blonde was shouting at me. “I haven’t got all day!” She said.
Intersection 2:
“Watch it” I screamed out of my window as I was gradually making my way out into the street.
“Out of my way! You b…..” Some tiny woman in a huge jeep shouted back at me with some beautiful words as she over passed me.
Happy words as morning motivators!!!!
What is it that all these women need to do during their day I thought? Could I be the reason they might be late to the nail stylist or hair stylist? Hmmm, I wonder!
Intersection 3:
“Hey, step on it” I shouted.
“No one’s stopping you to pass” Some old man in a taxi cab yelled back at me. “What are you late for a manicure or something? You …..” he added.
Hmmm, isn’t it ironic.
