As I stood there enjoying the wonders of a typical spring day
I heard a near voice to me begin to say
“A notion of utter bliss
Who on earth can ever describe this
an enchanting experience you don’t want to ever miss
as enjoyable as watching the blossoming of an iris
-so they say!”
How can you not see a miracle so astonishing
a phase of ongoing joy you must keep admiring
as sensational as watching history in the making
-so they say!”
And I thought alone, I have yet to find out
what this great fuss is all about
when suddenly I found myself astray
and I then realized, it was again mother’s day!
